Would you watch this film? Why?
  1. Yes, it was very gripping and I want to know what happens/happened to the characters.
  2. I’m not sure because normally the horror genre doesn’t appeal to me, but i would want to find out what happens.
  3. Yes, it was a thrilling trailer that builds up suspense and intensity.
  4. Yes, trailer left me wanting to know more. It looked exciting.
  5. Yes, it looks creepy and I like horrors.
  6. Yes, I want to know if they survive!
  7. I’m not really a fan of horrors.
  8. Probably, because I have lots of unanswered questions.
Can you tell what genre it is? How?
  1. Horror/suspense. It was dark and scary and left me asking questions.
  2. Horror because quick shots are used and the characters are scared and covered in blood.
  3. Definitely because of screams and flashing shots.
  4. Horror. Could tell because of the blood, screams and facial expressions.
  5. Horror, because it was dark, fast paced editing, and the anonymous note.
  6. Horror because of heavy breathing, screaming and blood.
  7. Horror/psycho thriller.
  8. Horror, because of blood, running away and screams.
Is the plot clear?
  1. Mostly, however the villain is unclear because you never really see them except for the knife shot.
  2. I think so, a couple are terrorised in their home.
  3. Yes as the first shot of the email and date makes it clear something will happen then.
  4. It’s clear that it’s something to do with a date because of the title and the email.
  5. Kind of, but I was unsure of who the baddie was.
  6. The basic concept is, but I was left with some confusion.
  7. Someone is out to get the couple.
  8. The title, I like how it looks like its being typed and that relates to the email.
What do you remember from the trailer?
  1. The date on the computer because I wondered who sent it and what its relevance was.
  2. Most memorable scenes I think were the ending with the male character hostage and the bloodied hands.
  3. Close up of the hands with blood, frantic.
  4. Receiving an email. Girl frantic. Boy tied up. Both characters seen bloody.
  5. Hostage scene at the end because it’s shocking.
  6. The girl was desperate and injured.
  7. The ending when the guy is tied up.
  8. Lots of shots of the scared girl.
How would you improve it?
  1. Add music to create more of an atmosphere.
  2. Music. More sound is needed and the scene with the knife felt random because you don’t see the attacker.
  3. Needs music or sound
  4. Add music/ sound effects to add suspense. Or maybe a voice-over to explain key points.
  5. Make the story and villain clearer.
  6. It needs music, maybe a bit longer on the email to show the significance.
  7. The middle doesn't flow completely and add music.
  8. Add music!
Any other comments:
  1. I like the credits and animation and also the panning at the beginning.
  2. -
  3. -
  4. -
  5. Adding the music will make it more atmospheric.
  6. You notice more if you watch it again, so there is depth to it,
  7. I like the editing because it was very fast.
