Poster Deconstruction - Buried

Tagline
170,000 miles of desert, 90 Minutes of oxygen, No way out.
A simple but effective tag, It makes you really think about the chances of being found and rescued. You are instantly hit but the vastness of the area in which he could be found, 170,000 SQ miles, you could fit England in 3 times and still have room to play with.
90 minutes of oxygen, the same time frame as that of a football match, no time at all when you need to been found in 170,000 sq miles, a surely impossible task.
No way out, just a basic phase that makes you reconfirm the other feelings you get from the tag line, that Ryan Reynolds really is going to be left there to die.

Fonts:
The font used in the title gives a broken, decayed image, something that is linked that of a coffin, the lighter is used in the I to give some kind of interaction with the image and the title which is very common amongst film posters.

Colour Scheme:
The colours are black, to symbolise the depth in which he is at. it he is after all, buried and light cannot penetrate through the dirt, so he is stuck, could be anywhere in the world in pure darkness.
There is light coming from the lighter in the picture and title, but quickly disappears into darkness as lighters are not adequate enough sources of light.

Main Image:
Is the Lead character laying down in what appears to be a wooden box holding only a lighter, you instantly are compelled to believe that he is lying down in a coffin, as this would be the only object a person would be lying down in. The face is blurred, could be to suggest that the identity of the man doesn't matter, perhaps to suggest that this is an often occurrence within the story.
