In today's lesson we attempted to upload the video footage from Wednesday onto the computer, however there were some minor complications and we couldn't view the filming in iMovie (the programme we will use to edit and compose our teaser trailer). After some discussions and advice from our teacher, the second attempt to upload the footage was successful. We then made 3 folders; Footage we won't use, Footage we possibly will use, and Footage we will use, and watched all the clips from Wednesday and decided which clips went in which folders. We did this because it will keep us organised and will be easier to find scenes when we need them.
We began discussing names for our film, however this will be one of the last things we decide on. We want a title that's short and snappy, and that gives away the genre without it being obvious and in your face.
Today we found out that we only have 2 more weeks and 3 more lessons to complete the filming, which at first panicked us, but then we discussed what evenings we were all free to film and also contacted our actor to make sure she could do these dates as well. We will hopefully film 4 more times, depending on how successful they are, then we will be able to fully concentrate on editing and putting together our teaser trailer!
