Script
In a group discussion, we decided against writing a script. This is because when we looked back over our teaser trailer research, we noticed that because they are very short and just a taster of the film, not much dialogue is used. Instead many used voice overs or text to add more information. We are not sure yet whether to include either of these elements to our teaser trailer, first we'll edit the trailer, and if we think our story isn't clear or something is needed, we may add in a voice over or text. Also, we agreed that we didn't want scripted dialogue, we'd prefer to let our actors know what we want conveyed in the speech, but for the actors to ad lib because it makes the dialogue more natural and realistic. We believed this was important in our genre of horror film because the more realistic it is, the more the audience will relate and feel the fear of the characters.
